Formerly: National Secretary, Bank Employees Division, Italian Trade Union Confederation (CISL-Bancari); member of the executive of the International Federation of Commercial, Clerical, Professional and Rechnical Employees (FIET); member, administrative council, ACEA (Municipal Electricity and Water Undertaking) from 1963 to 1971; Vice-President, FNAEM (National Federation of Municipal Electricity Undertakings). Member, National Executive, ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities) since 1979.
